    I graduated from Iowa State University in 1976. A previous practice owner, I am currently serving as Highlands Animal Hospital Medical Director. I enjoy hiking, camping, fly fishing, exercising, travel, and working with my horses.

    After graduating from the U.C Davis School of Veterinary Medicine I completed a one-year small animal internship in Massachusetts before returning to the Sacramento area to practice small animal clinical medicine. In 1994 I joined Highlands Animal Hospital and have been there ever since. Outside of work, I can be found tinkering, exploring, hiking or camping or just enjoying the outdoors with my family.
